PJ Condos Reach for the Sky in the Entertainment District

Toronto’s bustling entertainment district has long represented the beating heart of downtown.

With theaters, cinemas, 4 and 5-star restaurants and world-class shopping it’s where Torontonians go to unwind, kick back and indulge in the good life.

Into this rich tapestry of activity comes PJ Condos from Pinnacle International.

PJLocated directly across John Street from the Pinnacle Adelaide and within earshot of the CN Tower.

PJ Condos bring a dose of 21st-century architectural flair to downtown with a breathtaking design by Turner Fleischer Architects and Hariri Pontarini Architects.

The kinetic design of the tower corkscrews outward and upward from the base creating a gradual cantilever over John Street.

The base itself extends away from the tower to the corner of Adelaide where it will angle away from the curb opening up the sidewalk and allowing for an intimate greenspace.

Work on the site commenced in early 2017. Following several months of utility relocation, the site was excavated and the lower parking levels built out.

Today, the six story podium is nearing completion, and the tower itself is rising skyward at the rate of one story every two weeks. Pinnacle International is very proud to announce this great news.

With each new floor, the predominant wedge shape of the base transitions gracefully to the rectangular floor plate that will predominate on the uppermost floors.

The design thereby avoids the static boxy feeling of many a modern tower and expresses the energy and vibrancy of the location.

PJ Condos will reach 41 stories when complete with 373 units of varying sizes starting at around $350,000.

Each unit will feature large windows, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, laminate wood flooring, track lighting, spa-style bathrooms with porcelain tiles, a soaker tub, chrome faucets, under cabinet lighting and much, much more.

pjBut beyond the compelling design and affordable luxury PJ Condos are blessed with one of the premier locations in the GTA.

South-facing windows will look out on the lakeshore with the CN Tower rising majestically in the middle distance.

While north-facing views will drink in the expansive landscapes of southern Ontario.

But all that said, it’s at street level that the PJ Condos location reveals its most precious commodity; secure, invigorating urban life.

Within just a few minutes’ walk are the historic 508 Lake Shore streetcar, St Patrick’s Square, Simcoe Park, Clarence Square, and the world-renowned Don Alfonso restaurant.

In addition, there’s the Prince of Wales Theater, the Scotiabank Theater, historic Union Station and the skyscraping Bay Adelaide Centre.

Sprinkled amongst the numerous landmarks are dozens of coffee houses, ethnic dining experiences, dance studios, universities and more.

It’s truly urban living at its best and most fully realized. And units are available now while supplies last.

When completed in 2020 PJ Condos will feature not only hundreds of the most affordable luxury living spaces in Canada but a fitness centre, business centre, swimming pool for residents, multipurpose function rooms as well as high-end retail, dining and more on the podium level.
